1% of the purchase price to my buyers at closing. This rebate must
be provided as a credit to be applied towards my buyers' closing
costs on the settlement statement (HUD-1) at closing. The actual
credit is 1/3 of the net buyers' agent commission paid to

seller to the buyers' agent is 3%. As a result, the most common
credit is 1%. The buyers understand that this credit must be
